The convoys were all in the rendezvous Gold Fish Lake (Hung Yen) from early morning. Crowds of fishers flocked to the Lake register for fishing, however, the organization board only chose 8 teams, and they’re 8 representative families of InPEL and HaFICo Group.

Fishing is an Art and the fisher must be an Artist, then the fishing day just becomes meaningful. There were National famous Fishers as Mr. Hoang Vu, Mr. Hoang Anh Tuan, but still there were new fishers who only acquainted with the way of fishing from childhood with their fishing-rod as chip of wood, or reed or bamboo spray, and fishing line as catgut and fish-hook with bait as worm, or locust… Therefore, for all teams could catch big fishes and feel stressful moments of drawing up fishes, the organization board had guided all new fishing teams in using machine fishing – rod with catgut scroll box and bunchy fish-hook, the bait was aromatic synthetic powdered grill rice. Before fishing, all teams was guided carefully about fishing skill and way to disengage the fish-hook from fish by Mr. Hoang Tuan. And when all teams were ready, the competition started in shouts of encouragement from women, children and other fishers around.

3 hours of competition, beside the continuous winning shouts of experienced fishers was 3 thorny hours in the face of new fisher Nam Long (he was very laborious during 3 hours for fishing but no fish came near his fishing-hook, and till the last compensative 3 minutes, he just succeeded with only one fish); and at the same time, that was also 3 silent hours in thoughtful and waiting face of fisher David. This fisher was not a new fisher but that was not his lucky day for a full fishing-basket, however, he caught himself a biggest “female fish”. When others asking him about his “unintelligible face” during fishing hour, he answered that the “female fish” that he was anxious looking for was not the 5kg fish which every one enjoyed in the party, that must be a female fish with … 50kg in weight, 1m65 in length, and knew … fishing together with him in each fishing competition of HaFICo and InPEL Group. (?!)

The new fishing teams Trung Dung and Xuan Tam (they were new fishers but still had full fishing-baskets) felt highly enthusiastic and much exited when they received their awards and sent their thankfulness to the “teacher” Hoang Tuan who was whole-hearted in guiding everyone fishing. And about Mr. Hoang Tuan, though he was not awarded the Price of the most fish (because of teaching new fishers) he still felt very happy and prided on imparting his fishing skill to new fishers.

For the team of President Hoang Vu, that was really a big happy day for his great family, so his team had shared his happiness to others by “sparing” a 7kg catfish’s life in order to give up the Price of biggest fish for others (if not sparing it, the Price of biggest fish had belonged to his team).
